You walked into my life,
just when I needed you the most,
when the tattered remnants of my mind
made me a wounded dove. You walked into my life,
just when I needed you the most,
when you shattered demons left behind
replacing them with love.Don't walk out of my life,
don't ever leave me all alone,
you helped me learn to love again
and leave the hate behind.Don't walk out of my life,
don't ever leave me all alone,
I’ve learned to love my life again
and leave the hate behind.© June 2000 Brenda "Rion" Sewell
Just Ask
Leaning forward she kisses his
neck
leaving moisture behind upon his
skin
and blowing softly across the spot
promise of future pleasures to come.
Slowly she pours the oil into
her palm
warming it slowly with internal heat
she lightly touches his cool bare
skin
awakening deep and mutual desire.
Her fingers dance across his skin
as deeper still she rolls her thumbs
stimulating muscles strained and
taut
lifting muscles with confidence.
Using butterfly kisses of soft
quick touch
she eases his physical body warm
with a healing touch that guarantees
pleasure if he should just ask.

Pressed against a body warm
the sweetness of life fills your
soul
your heart secure in love’s
sanctity.
Caresses with soft tracings of
touch
small circles drawn on skin warm
and dry
raises the hair and gently wakes.
Kisses light as the brush of a
wing
of a butterfly flying to touch the
sky
bring forth sighs of sensuality.
The skin damp from kisses
as whispers of breath blow against
the skin
arousing the beast that lies within.
Feeding the beast of roaring heat
taking your fill of all delights
‘til the body swoons in the dark of
the night.
One soft final kiss and off to
dream
with the innocence of a child
as your body gives in to resting
sleep.

Whispered words
softly spoken
against the ear
teasing serenity out of hiding.
Closed eyes
mind focused on
the breath of the one
who brings joy and delight.
Holding me close
surrounding me
with a love as soft
as a baby’s breath.
My heart is pleased,
my mind is still
your love fills me
allowing my soul to soar.

Listen for my whispers in the night
as they come across the miles to where you sleep.
I will be the lightness in the dark
to comfort you and hold you as you weep.Never will you be alone again,
for you hold a special place within my heart.
Always will you have a home with me,
you are close to me e'vn though we are apart.Forever in tandem, our lives are tied
by a silver strand that crosses o’er the miles.
Sharing conscious thoughts and Godly faith
we help each other find again our smiles.© May 1998 Brenda "Rion" Sewell

The Lovers
The lovers stood in the soft moonlight,
placing hands o’er the other’s heart,
and pledged their love to be so true
forever lasting, till death do them part.Walking together hand in hand,
through the portal into a dream.
Bound to the other by a silver strand
an example of love supreme. With the moon as a witness, long they stood
under evening stars gleaming so bright.
the dew formed diamonds in her hair
as they kissed in the dark of the night.Their future looked bright with hopes and dreams,
as it was Blessed by the Lord above.
The lovers knew down deep in their hearts
that their life would abound with love.© November 1998 Brenda "Rion" Sewell

A marriage of souls brought together in time
to care for each other with tender love
to share their love ‘neath a full moon night
and when the sun is high above.Walking hand in hand through a portal of dreams
bound to the other by a silver strand
forever entwined, their souls complete
an example of love so grand. An eternal bonding of separate souls
pledging true love placing hand over heart
signified by an exchange of rings,
forever lasting, till death do them part.© November 17, 2000 Brenda "Rion" Sewell

My Love
A calming breeze blows away sad thoughts,
a soft pink light will warm your soul,
a touch on your brow will ease your heart,
a gift for you to make you whole.Sleep will come and carry you
to a field with flowers of blue,
the coo of a dove will be heard above
as I sing songs of love to you.Forever and more will I care for you,
till in heaven we two shall meet.
You are my life, my love, my all ...
You make my life complete.© December 1998 Brenda "Rion" Sewell

A New Dawn
Dedicated to my husband, Jack ... I love you.
Lightly his touch lingers on her
skin
caressed by fingertips gentle and
kind
pulling emotions from deep within
as burning passion tears apart her
soul.
Dark shadows once ruled her
troubled mind,
engulfing her thoughts in their
fiery grasp.
The thoughts of torturous injury
are replaced now by pure
tranquillity.
She sits as peace comes into her
heart
overcoming threats in her troubled
mind
as horrid pain and unhappiness
depart from the turmoil of inner
soul.
Silent, sensual, serenity
allows her a quiet, peaceful repose.
Closing her eyes, she drifts for a
time
embracing the harmony in her soul.

Sometimes you have to act on your intuitions ...
sometimes you have to let your emotions override your sensibilities.
I am glad I acted on my intuition when I introduced myself
to the man who would become my husband.
Jack, I love you hon!My Husband
I remember the first time I saw him
as he pulled up into the neighborhood park
getting out of his car, a small motorcycle with a hat
a Honda 600 .. a two door job smaller than a Volkswagen Bug.Long blond hair, glistening in the afternoon sun
with dark tanned shoulders, muscular and strong.
Raising his hands above his head, he stretched
the muscles bulging and rippling in solid splendor.A man of such physical prowess, a man of such beauty,
and then the children started getting out of the car.
There were so many .. all ages of girls and boys
laughing, eager, smiling, happy .. eleven smiles.I had to know the story behind the laughter
for he was laughing and smiling as much as the kids.
I walked over to the car and introduced myself,
"Hello, I’m Brenda." then I asked, "Are they yours?"I got lost as I looked into his ice blue eyes,
I knew then and there I would marry this man.
There was compassion, love, and a sweetness there
belying the strength of the tanned arms and back."No," he replied as his eyes brightened and smiled.
"Just some of the neighbors’ kids. I’m not married.
I just love kids." he said and walked off to answer
the call of a child wanting a ride on the merry-go-round.Twenty-four years of marriage later, I am still in awe
of the noble heart of this wonderful man I married,
with the goodness and natural compassion of a heart
that made me fall so deeply headlong into love.© October 1998 Brenda "Rion" Sewell

Will you walk beside me, hand in hand, and stand in the sun one last time?
Will you caress my cheek, as you were oft to do, and look into my eyes?
It is time for us to depart and to tarry no more, but please show me that you still care.Hand in hand, we will slowly walk, under a night sky filled with stars.
Pull me back for one last look, one fleeting caress, one sweet kiss
before you leave me here, standing alone against the world.Knowing full well that our time here on earth is fleeting and short,
let me say I have loved with a passion, sweet and pure
give me that at least ...
before you tear my heart from my soul as you leave.Let me dream awhile longer, before the harsh reality of life, takes over
and I must walk alone in a world that no longer holds your soul.
Take my hand, and softly place a kiss in the palm
to keep me forever safe from harm.Fight hard my friend, try to stay here with me,
for I love you greatly still,
but when your will falters, and the pain becomes too great
I will release you from a long ago promise to never leave
and will bid you a fond, but tearful farewell.© December 1998 Brenda "Rion" Sewell

He Came Home
He came home last night
angry
not so much at me
but at himself
blaming
chiding
lecturing me.
All the while talking
to himself. He came home last night
hurting
wanting comfort and
reassurance
needing
craving
love from a mother.
All the while crying
to himself. He came home last night
wanting
and I gave to him
all I could give
holding
stroking
singing lullabies.
All the while knowing
it wasn’t enough.© December 1998 Brenda "Rion" Sewell
