FREE book on Lupus
You can receive an excellent 130 page book free from the National Institute of Health called Lupus: A Patient Care Guide For Nurses and Other Health Care Professionals.

You can order it online and using the order form there (as I did).
Or call for a free copy (301) 495-4484 or TTY: (301)565-2966. You can also fax a request for the book (301)718-6366.

All these requests are for single copies only. I'd suggest taking a look at the site and seeing how comprehensive the book is. Since it is written for nurses, it covers a lot more than we usually can find on the net. It took a few weeks to arrive, but was worth the wait.

Hmmm, might make a nice gift for a doctor who is unsure how to treat us or your local hospital if they don't get many lupus patients :)

Information gathered from :

Searching for ways to deal with the depression, the frustrations, the questions about lupus, I joined a support group online.  LUPIES has been a wonderful gift.  I have learned more from the information I found on the support web site from other sufferers of Lupus than I did from my doctor.
Thank you fellow Lupies!    May your days be pain free!
